Diary

Thursday 25th November 2004

Today was quite a day for The AirMaster!

Due to some discrepancy The AirMaster almost missed the photo shoot with the local paper! However, it turned out alright in the end, except that the young woman photographer insisted that The Airmaster should leap into the air, catching 'Genuine Huthwaite Air' in a jar as he did it! The AirMaster was at one point almost airborne, when the young woman photographer insisted he should take a run-up before leaping!

Fortunately The AirMaster realised what was happening and went along with her performance, and did as she asked lest she get upset!

Also, she asked him if she could photograph a bigger jar,' like a jam jar or something'! Strange, thought The AirMaster (for there is a stash of empty jam jars under the kitchen, left by the previous occupier of his home). Why she would want to photograph a jam jar The AirMaster has absolutely no idea, but The AirMaster decided not to tell her about the jam jars under the floorboards. She might insist he went down there and bring them up one by one, only perhaps for each one to be rejected! The AirMaster might have been there all day!

What all this had to do with 'Genuine Huthwaite Air' The AirMaster thinks only she must know! We were not even at Rooley Tops at the time! Perhaps it was too far for her to walk!

Some people are very strange, The AirMaster thinks! Some, like the young woman photographer think they know more about 'Genuine Huthwaite Air' than The AirMaster!

Even stranger, after the shoot she went off to photograph the old hosiery factory! Perhaps she thought it was Brierley Forest Visitor's Centre, but the centre is not quite as big as that!

Well, what a to do! The AirMaster is also The QuizMaster at a local hostelry on a thursday evening, and tonight he witnessed Quiz Rage for the first time! The QuizMaster was nonplussed! Then, to top that, the 'Tap the Tin Rollover', now at a massive £30, engendered Tap the Tin Rage! The AirMaster was again nonplussed! Fortunately it was all sorted out (because it was all in fun) and as usual, The QuizMaster's decision was final!
