The Jar Filling Ceremony

Sunday 7th November 2004

On Sunday 7th November 2004 we made our way to the top of Rooley Tops in order to fill the 10 jars with 'Genuine Huthwaite Air'!

The Watering CanFirst of all the special watering can was placed on the ground for several minutes to allow the denser air to replace the lighter air inside it (the can had filled with lighter air as it was taken out of my rucksack). Filling the JarsFilling the JarsNext, all the jars were filled by pouring the denser air from the special watering can into them.

 

 

 

Putting the Lids on the JarsPutting the Lids on the JarsLastly, all the lids were screwed firmly on the jars. Shortly afterwards, back in the LAB, (Long Abandoned Bedroom) a silicon sealant was applied to completely seal the jars, and then the labels and Runic Seals added.
